1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. One person may hold one account. We may ask you to verify your age, identity or photos.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your login and activity. Provide accurate information, use your own recent photos, and do not impersonate anyone.

3. Acceptable use

No harassment, hate, threats, nudity or sexual solicitation, scams or requests for money, spam, advertising, illegal activity, or content involving minors. Do not scrape the service or use bots. We may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules or our Community Guidelines.

4. Memberships, Sparks and payments

Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay and are charged through our payment provider, Stripe. Memberships are one-time purchases for the period you choose (1, 3, 6 or 12 months). They do not renew automatically and we will never charge you again without a new purchase. When the period ends your plan returns to Starter. Sparks and video-minute packs are virtual items with no cash value; they cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for money. Offers, discounts and "first N members" promotions are limited and may be withdrawn at any time before purchase. Limits on likes, messages, posts, events and video minutes apply to each plan as shown in the app and are enforced by us; video time is never unlimited.

4a. Refunds

If something went wrong with a purchase (for example you were charged twice, or the purchase did not unlock what was described), contact support@madeforeachother.app within 14 days and we will fix it or refund you. Otherwise purchases are non-refundable once the membership or Sparks have been delivered, except where the law of your location gives you a right to a refund. We may refuse or reverse purchases that look fraudulent. Accounts closed for breaking these terms are not refunded.

5. Safety

We do not run criminal background checks and cannot guarantee any member's identity or conduct. Be careful when sharing personal information or meeting in person. Meet in public places and tell a friend. Report concerning behaviour using the Report button.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload, and give us a licence to host and display it to operate the service. You must have the rights to what you upload.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for interactions between members or for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Posts and meet-ups

You are responsible for what you post. Posts must follow these terms and the Community Guidelines, and we may remove them. Meet-ups are organised by members, not by us. We do not organise, supervise or control them, we do not run background checks, and we are not responsible for what happens at or because of a meet-up, including injury, loss, harm or disputes. You attend or host at your own risk, and you must accept the event safety notice before hosting or joining. Hosts approve their guests and may remove them. We may cancel events and suspend members to keep the community safe.

10. Intellectual property and copyright

The service, its design and software belong to us. If you believe content on the service infringes your copyright, email support@madeforeachother.app with the link, what is infringed and your contact details, and we will review it and remove content where appropriate.

11. Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are decided in the state or federal courts located in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, except where the law of your home location gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Please contact us first at support@madeforeachother.app; most issues can be resolved informally.

12. Changes, severability and contact

We may update these terms and will tell you about material changes; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. If part of these terms is unenforceable the rest still applies. Questions: support@madeforeachother.app.
